Independent Projects
Middle School Independent Project: Investigating Social Justice
Social justice is the view that everyone deserves equal economic, political, and social rights and opportunities. Through year-long independent projects, Feynman Middle School students will explore the concept of social justice and conduct research into a social justice issue that connects with their personal values. Students will construct a clear, achievable plan for how to address their chosen issue through both advocacy and service in the local community, and execute both of these project components in the spring. Finally, students will reflect on the experience and present their reflections and analysis through both written and oral presentations to the Feynman School community.
